The tower has also been renamed as the Burj Khalifa in honour of the UAE President, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The opening ceremony was attended by thousands of onlookers as well as local and international dignitaries. This impressive tower is officially the highest man-made structure in the world and is home to offices, residences and the world's first Armani hotel, due to open in March 2010. The observation deck at the top of the Burj Khalifa will be open to the public and will offer one of the best views in the world! |
The world's tallest building has been officially opened with the height of the tower confirmed at an astonishing 828 metres.
